On 2 October, Eileen Furlong joined the annual UBC symposium in Utrecht as keynote speaker, discussing ‘Genome regulation during developmental transitions: generating robustness and precision’. Furlong is the head of the Genome Biology Unit at EMBL in Heidelberg and a pioneer in applying genome-wide approaches for understanding molecular mechanisms in complex, multicellular organisms.
Three Dutch experts shared their experiences in their own field of Biology:
- Prof. Guido van den Ackerveken (Utrecht University)
- Prof. Lude Franken (University of Groningen)
- Prof. Vincent Robert (Westerdijk institute, Utrecht)
