Marijne Schijns (Utrecht University) is the winner of the public poster award for students at the Science for Life Conference 2016. The jury, 257 of the 400 congress attendants, indicated Marijne’s presentation about Protein-protein binding affinity prediction applied to the docking problem, as the best Students’ presentation.
Marijne receives a voucher for attending a congress or summer school of her own choice, sponsored by the Graduate School of Life Sciences. Marijne worked on her poster presentation within the Computational Structural Biology research group at Utrecht University. As a Master’s student she conducts her research project under the supervision of prof. Alexandre Bonvin.
