Philip Lijnzaad is among the first of a small group of certified Elixir Software and Data Carpentry instructors that completed the training in Lausanne. We are really excited with these results and hope that this will further stimulate our efforts in educating the next-generation of life scientists dealing with Big Data.
As part of our ongoing efforts to teach scientists fundamental data skills needed to conduct research, Elixir and the data carpentry organization have joined forces to create a European network of Software and Data Carpentry Instructors. These instructors teach best practices in software development, data management and data analysis.
