  • Elevator pitch session given by the bioinformaticians at the companies/institutes (to share their career journeys and their current work as a bioinformatician)
  • Interactive session with our next generations of bioinformatician scientists

Participating companies (more to be announced)

GenDx was co-founded by Erik Rozemuller PhD and Wietse Mulder PhD in 2005 as a spin-off from UMC Utrecht. Specialized in molecular transplant diagnostics, GenDx, part of Eurobio Scientific Group, develops and offers a comprehensive line of reagents and services, analysis software, and education. The vision of GenDx is to advance the field of transplantation by offering excellent molecular diagnostic tools and sharing knowledge with the mission to improve the quality of life and survival of transplant patients.

The Hyve helps life science organisations align their data infrastructure and research needs, including global pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and research institutions. They are a young, fast-growing company employing an international and multidisciplinary team of data and IT specialists who share the same mission: to enable open science. Their expert team is dedicated to helping clients align their data infrastructure and research needs by leveraging open-source software and FAIRifying data.

Cyclomics are a Dutch innovative health-tech company founded in 2018 by scientists of the UMC Utrecht. Its ambition is to transform cancer care by enabling faster and more reliable diagnoses, particularly in the context of cancer recurrence thanks to its proprietary circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) detection technology.

Genmab was founded in 1999 in Copenhagen, Denmark. They are a dual-listed, international biotechnology company specializing in the creation and development of differentiated antibody therapeutics to fight against cancer and other serious diseases. An experienced international management team sets the direction for their growth.
